Caught In The Game
Andy Jennings drew his razor-sharp combat knife. He'd never cut someone's throat before, but was sure he could do it as silently as he'd been taught.

When the figure reached the wooded slope, Andy sprang to his feet, launched himself onto his target and slammed him to the ground. Then he hesitated. The person under him was too small to make any sense. It was a kid...

In February 1988, Major Yevgeni Vlasov looked for the first time at the ultra-sophisticated Tupolev Tu-670, the top-secret stealth prototype he was assigned to test.

Across the world, in Camas, Washington, photographer Leo Mortensen prepared for the opportunity of his life: a feature article for Outdoor Times, a major wildlife magazine. However, he was preoccupied by the plight of his boss's nephew, Arik Thorpe, who'd been abandoned by his father and now at 13 had lost his beloved grandmother, leaving him devastated.

Torn between ambition and his growing affection for the boy, Leo lets Arik accompany him on the adventure. Together with writer Chris Howard, and a Finnish guide, they set out for Finland's remote Lemmenjoki National Park.

When the test aircraft crashes in the vast wilderness of northern Finland, Leo and Arik discover a critically injured pilot and, mistakenly, are Caught In The Game, a fight for survival they can't win alone.
